The first adventure, "Dance Magic," sees the girls trying to fundraise to fix the damage Camp Everfree suffered in the previous film.

So, a little under a year after the release of Legend of Everfree, and my now 11-year-old daughter has less interest in the My Little Pony franchise, which mens for this release, I was on my own, armed only with the knowledge gained having reviewed at least seven different home-video releases, including the entire breadth of the Equestria Girls universe, an alternate universe in which the ponies are humanoid teens with teen problems to solve (made more complicated by the presence of friendship magic.) So I wasn't exactly lost when it came to approaching "Magical Movie Night", a collection of three short adventures featuring the Equestria Girls characters, which pick up after the latest film.

Likes: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the Equestria Girls films, Equestria Girls music Rarity: *grins* Get my picture taken with Chestnut Magnifico, the actress playing Daring Do!įluttershy/Butterscotch: *smiles happily with both Spike and both Barbra's in their arms* And ask her to sign our petition to bring more bird feeders to Canterlot High!įluttershy: Well, Chestnut Magnifico is an avid supporter of a foundation that helps build homes for animals in need.ĭusk: Oh, okay.A trio of shorter, interconnected Equestria Girls adventures Twilight: *looks at the schedule and smiles* According to our visitor schedules, they won't start shooting the next scene for a while, which means we have time to. Lope- *smiles calmly to them* If you'll excuse us. They can't find the costume Daring Do is supposed to wear in the nightclub scene.Ĭanter Zoom: *sighs* If we're ever able to finish it, it will be. P.A.: *walks up to them* Uh, there's a problem in wardrobe. Rainbow Dash: *looks at them* Eh-heh! Little? This is Daring Do we're talking about!īlitz- *excited* This movie is gonna be huge!
*glares at Rainbow and Blitz* Again.Ĭanter/Lope: *smiles at them* As fellow Camp Everfree alum, we were more than happy to afford the boys girls who helped save it the chance to visit the set of our little film. Sunset/Glare: *calmly* We promise we won't get in the way. Twilight/Dusk/Princess Twilight/Prince Dusk: *respectfully* Thank you so much for letting us come, Mr. Rainbow/Blitz: *excited* I can't believe we're really here! Lope- *sighs* And this time, say "Mojo" instead of "Stalwart Stallion", 'kay? Twilight/Dusk- *points a finger at them waving and shaking their heads no*īlitz: *defensive* What? You think he wants Daring Do fans to call him out for making a mistake like that?Ĭanter: *sighs* Let's go again.
But at this point in the story, Stalwart Stallion would be known as Mojo. *Rainbow, Blitz and, Twilight, and Dusk have their necklaces on* Rainbow/Blitz: *rudely interrupts* Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!Ĭanter Zoom/Lope Enhance: *annoyed* Ugh! Cut! Once I have all three relics, no one will be able to stop me, and Marapore will fall! For I am Stalwart Stallion-!
